Treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. Pagets disease of bone. Corticosteroid-induced osteoporosis. |

| Contra Indication |

Hypocalcemia and hypersensitivity. Hypocalcaemia, causes of oesteoporosis.Patient with esophageal abnormalities.
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindicated to paediatrics. |

Patient with acute upper gastrointestinal problem. |

| Side Effect |
: |
Abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia, constipation, diarrhoea, oesophageal ulcer, faltulence, acid regurgitation, vomiting, dysphalgia, abnormal distention, headache, musculoskeletal pain. Decrease in serum phosphate. |
