Cardiovascular disease. Eclampsia and severe pre-eclampsia, intra-uterine infection, intra-uterine foetal death, antepartum haemorrhage, placenta praevia and cord compression, threatened miscarriage, cardiac disease. |

Hypertensive ischaemic heart disease. Receiving digitalis. |

| Side Effect |
: |
Arrythmias. Tremors, Palpitation, restlessness, nervousness, throat irritation and ankle edema. Tremor, muscle cramps, headache, hypokalaemia. |
