Infective Ophthalmitis and sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, acute exacerbation, community-acquired pneumonia, skin infections. Intra abdominal infections.
Contra Indication
:
Hypersensitivity.
Pregnancy, lactation and children above the age of 18 years.
Caution
:
Nervousness, agitation, insomnia, anxiety, nightmares or paranoia. It should be used with caution when given concurrently with cisapride, erythromycin, antipsychotics and tricyclic antidepressants drugs. Bradycardia or acute myocardial ischaemia.
Side Effect
:
GI disturbances, peripheral neuropathy, photosensitivity, abdominal pain, headache, epilepsy and super added fungal infection, irritation when applied locally.
