Locally acting anesthetic and analgesic drug. Gingivitis, stomatitis, glossitis apthous ulcers, dental surgery and oral ulceration due to raditation therapy, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, post tonsillectomy radiation or intubation mucositis.
Contra Indication
:
Hypersensitivity.
Side Effect
:
Erythema, rash, photosensitivity.
Numbness or stinging sensation on local application.
If taken orally causes a feeling of well being, euphoria and in high doses hallucinations, paranoia, dry mouth and convulsions.
